University of Tennessee – Strong Hall

The Strong Hall Research Facility demonstrates the efforts taken by The University of Tennessee to become one of the Top 25 research universities in the nation. The facility houses Anthropology, Earth and Planetary Science, Biology and Chemistry.  Varia provided and installed the tiered lecture tables featuring solid surface countertops, perforated steel modesty panels, glass markerboard panels and undercounter electrical charging stations. Breakout tables were also provided with access to the glass markerboards for collaboration purposes. University lecture halls need to accommodate large numbers of students, and the radius of the table layout for this room ensures students have good visibility of the teaching wall.
