University of Tennessee – Mossman Hall

The Ken and Blaire Mossman Science Laboratory Building is a 222,000 square foot facility science building developed to further UT’s commitment to science and research. It houses two large lecture rooms featuring fixed tables provided and installed by Varia. Varia provided a custom curvilinear lecture table layout which offers a more interactive experience for the students and professors. For durability and aesthetics, the tables were customized with solid surface countertops and waterfall end panels. Undercounter electrical outlets enable each student to charge their phone, tablet or computer.  The design provides clear knee space for the entire length of the table. Pull up an orange chair to this lecture table, and the Vols are ready for class.
