Pinewood Springs Mental Health & Wellness

Pinewood Springs provides mental health and wellness care for Middle Tennessee, including both inpatient and outpatient services. In order to create a secure environment and minimize potential patient risk, Varia gave careful attention to the design, fabrication, and installation. Radiused countertop corners, ligature-resistant hardware, pick-proof caulk and built-in solid surface patient wardrobes were used throughout. Patient restrooms were equipped with solid surface shower panels for durability and safety purposes. A safe, secure environment does not mean aesthetics takes a backseat. The acrylic panels in the lobby and corridor clerestory areas are a central point—adding visual interest and additional light.
