CMDS – Library

Varia has worked closely with Dr. Bryan Williams and his staff on several summer renovation projects. This library renovation included a media area, reading area, story room and plenty of room for book storage. In addition to casework and seating, Varia provided a mobile book cart, a beautiful piece of furniture easily moved to the different library zones.

Multiple meetings were conducted in the months leading up to the renovation to determine size, scope and budget for the project. Varia performed the preliminary design work—leading to drawings and photo realistic 3D renderings used for fundraising. These 3D renderings have been a key component of almost every CMDS renovation project as it helps parents and staff visualize the final outcome of the space. As with many of our school renovations, all fabrication and installation was completed during the summer months to ensure the library was ready for students and teachers on the first day of school.
